Rectors Of Three Higher Educational Establishments Dismissed

The changes in leadership are taking place against the backdrop of protests in the capital's universities.

Today, the leadership of two higher education institutions in the capital and of one in Brest has been changed. This is reported by Lukashenka's press service.

Natallia Laptseva was appointed rector of the Minsk State Linguistic University (before that she was the head of the German Language Faculty), Natallia Karcheuskaya was appointed rector of the BSUKI (she was the first deputy minister of culture), Aliaksandr Bakhanovich (former rector for educational work of BNTU) - of the BrSTU.

It should be noted that the change of leadership is taking place against the background of protests in the capital's universities. Students go to the rallies every day.
