Five days are left before the People's ultimatum.

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya addressed the employees of the power structures of Belarus:

"On October 25, we announced the People's Ultimatum. And I would like to appeal to the law enforcement officers.

You are used to following orders. But you must understand that soon orders will be heard from the new, democratic government. It's unavoidable.

You are used to listening to your superiors. But is it worth doing this if it protects not the people of Belarus but only one person? It's illegal.

You are used to showing solidarity with your colleagues. But you are not collectively responsible for the crimes they committed, not you. If your colleague has beaten someone half to death, you shouldn't go to jail.

The People's ultimatum is your chance to side with the Belarusians. If you do not agree to carry out criminal orders, do not do it. The regime knows that it is dying and tries to share its fate with all of you, tarnishing the honor of your uniform. Don't let this happen. Responsibility will be borne personally by those who committed the crimes. There will be no general lustration. Your work is needed in the new Belarus; a system of law enforcement agencies is needed. Therefore, contact us, contact foundations, make a public appeal with the support of your people. Fulfill the oath that each of you gave to Belarusians. There are 5 days left before the People's ultimatum."
