Belarusian healthcare Workers Demand Holding New Elections

An open letter.

Medical workers of Belarus initiated the launch of an open letter with the demands to the authorities:

- on the cessation of violence by the security forces, investigation of all facts of bodily harm and torture;

- on the release of political prisoners and all citizens detained for a peaceful demonstration of protest;

- on the recognition of the official results of the elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus on August 9, 2020 invalid, and the holding of new elections in compliance with the legislation.

“If you care about the future of our country, join us!” says the open letter.
