The Russian oil is accumulated in reservoirs.
The transit of oil through the pipeline in Belarus was suspended allegedly “due to technical problems in Poland”, so the oil from the Russian Federation is accumulating in reservoirs, RIA Novosti reports with a reference to the press-center of Belneftekhim.
“While there are no critical moments, we are coping. And with the volume of oil, and in general with the situation. We are waiting for the Polish side to solve technical problems. We still have oil reserves,” said Spokesman for Belneftekhim Aliaksandr Tsishchanka.
Tsishchanka cannot say for how long the transit will be suspended.
“OJSC “Gomeltransneft Druzhba” is taking all measures to ensure the planned volumes of transit oil transportation, currently the Russian oil coming from the territory of the Russian Federation is accumulating in the reservoir park LPDS Mazyr,” added Tsishchanka.
