Is Lukashenka Getting Ready to Go Somewhere?

In another situation, this could be called "asset withdrawal."

The head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Naryshkin arrived in Belarus for the joint board of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia and the KGB of Belarus. Lukashenka met with him and thanked him for the information the Foreign Intelligence Service provides to his Belarusian colleagues.

However, it is possible that the collegium is simply a cover for another, more important reason for Naryshkin's visit. There are reports that, immediately after meeting with Putin and receiving the first tranche of the loan (which, however, he did not see, since the Kremlin simply shifted this money from pocket to pocket, paying off Belarus' debt to Gazprom from the budget), Lukashenka began urgently to take actions, which in another situation could be called "asset withdrawal."

Huge contracts are urgently concluded for suddenly created companies, to which the rights to sell refined products are transferred, and the shipment of products will not take place through Russian ports. There is some kind of movement of money from offshore in the direction of Arab banks. It is quite possible that Lukashenka, in the best traditions of the top managers of bankrupt enterprises, is preparing to leave. This contradicts the agreements with Putin, who, at a meeting in Sochi, literally delivered an ultimatum on a smooth and controlled transfer of power through constitutional reform and the transfer of the prime minister's powers to a strictly pro-Kremlin protégé, who will either become a successor or control the transfer of power.

All this is once again going somewhere in the wrong direction, and, therefore, it is logical that Naryshkin, as the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service, was sent to Lukashenka to present him with some documents and evidence that, in the Kremlin, they know how to keep track of money.
