A 23-year-old girl spent four days in a punishment cell on Akrestsina Street.

Freelancer Alena Dovnar was released from the detention center on Akrestsina Street after 30 days of arrest, Belsat reports.

"I survived thanks to the support of my family. Notes were passed. But when I had to leave, and they told me that there was another protocol... When you have no strength, you just want to surrender; I just couldn't stand it for 15 days, but some strength appeared, and I told myself that I have to hold on," says Alena after release.

Alena says that in Baranavichy, she was in a cell with 18 people. At Akrestsina Street, the girl was alone almost all the time; she was transferred to a punishment cell for four days without explanation.

Alena Dounar, 23, was detained on September 26 at the Women's March. Two protocols were drawn up against her: for participation in the rally on September 26 and disobedience to the police. The judge of the October court of the capital, Aliaksandr Rudenka, gave the girl not only a prison sentence but also a fine - 1,350 rubles. On October 2, she was transferred from the Zhodzina detention center to Baranavichy. They said that there were not enough places in Zhodzina.

On October 12, the girl was given another 15 days.
