Vitsebsk Students Put Forward Their Demands To Authorities

Vitsebsk students have recorded a vibrant appeal to the authorities and made their demands, Belsat reports:

"We are students of Vitsebsk universities, future specialists on whom the prosperity of our country directly depends.

Now we are in a situation where a person can be beaten or thrown in jail for ideological dissension. Many students face pressure from university administrations to express their views peacefully. This can happen in many different ways: riot police, detention, threats of non-admission to exams and tests.

It is impossible to develop normally under such conditions".

We remind that since October 26, a national strike has been held in Belarus. Student protest and strike movement in Belarus has reached an unprecedented scale.
