Kyiv believes that it is important to act as a united front in this situation.

Ukraine intends to join the EU sanctions against Lukashenka's regime and demonstrate a consistent policy against the neighboring state's authorities.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has stated this, "Ukrainian Pravda" reports.

"I want to look at the final legal decision on who is on this list. But so, we are determined to join these sanctions, because here we are already talking about policy consistency issues.

Ukraine believes that it is important to act as a united front in this situation. We are doing everything in our power to help the people of Belarus in this difficult situation," Dmytro Kuleba said.

He noted that the price of such solidarity of Ukraine is much higher than for the EU or NATO countries, because Ukraine is not under the "umbrella of protection" of these associations, and the expansion of Russia's influence in Belarus threatens Ukrainian security.
