The Free Association of Athletes of Belarus Will Send a Letter to The IOC

Belarusian athletes call on the International Olympic Committee to abide by its charter.

Free Association of Athletes of Belarus will send a letter to the IOC.

DW published part of the draft in which SOS BY urges the IOC to abide by its charter.

“The National Olympic Committee (...) has become an accomplice of lawlessness and discrimination and is headed by people who bear the main responsibility for what is happening in Belarus.

“We ask the leadership of the International Olympic Committee to show solidarity with the athletes (...) and not remain indifferent to the actions of the NOC of Belarus, which are related to discrimination and violence,” the letter says.

Let us remind you that Lukashenka is the president of the NOC of Belarus.
