‘Lukashenka Should Run For His Life Instead Of Making Plans For Future’

Literally tomorrow we will see a large-scale failure of yet another undertaking by the usurper.

Lukashenka demanded to create official trade unions at private sector enterprises by the end of the year: “We agreed that by the end of this year trade union organizations will be created at all private enterprises. This issue should be resolved by the end of the year.”

“If only by the end of the year private enterprises do not create trade union organizations according to your requirements, these private enterprises will be liquidated. We will not joke anymore. We see how some behaved - they took a course towards the destruction of the state and statehood in our country,” Lukashenka said at a meeting with Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Mikhail Orda.

What will come of this idea at the end of the year? The Belarusian Partisan website talked about this with the chairman of the Belarusian Congress of Democratic Trade Unions Aliaksandr Yarashuk.

- In fact, no one will create anything, it is quite obvious. And it was not for this purpose that the conversation was started, but with one and only understandable goal - nothing extraordinary is happening in the country, supposedly the situation is stable, controlled, all tasks are being solved, including such important ones as trade union building.

Back in 2015, the task was set - to create trade unions in the private sector of the economy, then they returned to this task in February 2020 during the congress of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus.

A simple line is being followed: the creation of trade unions in the private sector is a state task, just as it is extremely important to control prices and all the rest of the crap, which must be dealt with by Orda’s unions.

It is clear that such primitive propaganda methods cannot convince anyone of anything, and I am quite sure that the result will be completely opposite to what they were trying to achieve.

You can, of course, put a brave face on a sorry business, but we know that the situation is awful for one and the other, they should run for their lives, and not make plans for the end of the year. Against the background of the extremely low authority of both one and the other, the picture shown can only cause even more irritation to the people.

I predict that literally tomorrow we will see massive outflow from the trade unions of the FTUB. This was, by the way, after the failed idea of Orda to hold a rally in support of Lukashenka, and this will happen now.

Today, neither Lukashenka nor Orda have a single winning move, any of their actions only worsen their situation. It must be said that in the end, the bankrupt political regime will go to the dustbin of history, and the people of Belarus will gain the long-awaited freedom.

- Is it possible to estimate the scale of the outflow of people from the FTUB after August 9?

- Lukashenka and Orda are discussing the creation of state trade unions in the private sector of the economy against the backdrop of the massive exit from the FTUB. We do not know the exact statistics, but we can talk about 20 or 30 percent; we know exactly the dynamics of people leaving the official trade unions at the enterprises of Minsk.

At the Minsk Tractor Plant, about half of the people left the official trade union. I am absolutely convinced that after the bloody terror perpetrated against its own people, this outflow will only accelerate. And in a few months, maybe in half a year, nothing will remain of the FTUB.

Yesterday, in a conversation between Lukashenka and Orda, it was said: maybe someone left, some random people (for sure: half of the random people ended up in the official trade union at the Minsk Tractor Plant, you can imagine how many extra people there are at the Minsk Tractor Plant, the Minsk Motor Plant, the Electrical Engineering Plant).

Since August 9, there has been a rapid process of leaving the FTUB trade unions, which is gaining momentum. And I see no reason why this process could slow down or stop.
