President of the Munich Conference: Either Lukashenka Will Hand Over Power, or He Will Have to Flee in a Russian Helicopter

Its legitimacy has been exhausted.

Wolfgang Ischinger, president of the Munich Security Conference, believes that the self-proclaimed Lukashenka can avoid the scenario of fleeing the country by launching the transfer of power.

He said this in an interview with European Pravda.

"I really hope that there will be a way that will allow Lukashenka to understand: his legitimacy has been exhausted, and it is in his interests to propose a way of transferring power. Moreover, this transfer should not consist of the absorption of Belarus by Russia," Ischinger said.

"Of course, this may be an option for him. He can buy housing in Moscow and live in peace there. But I hope that Lukashenka will understand: by launching the transfer of power, he will avoid the need to flee the country in a Russian helicopter," Ischinger said.
