Journalist Ihar Iljash, Katsiaryna Andreyava's Husband, Detained In Belarus

The relatives have found the protocol of seizing the computer, phone and other things in the apartment.

On November 24, journalist Ihar Iljash, husband of journalist Katsiaryna Andreyava, detained in the criminal case, stopped answering the phone, Belsat reports.

The journalist was not available on the phone. Ihar's brother found the protocol of seizing the computer, phone and other things in Ihar's apartment. It's not possible to see either names or the reason for confiscating the journalist's personal belongings on the copy of the report.

Yesterday evening Ihar was supposed to come to the meeting, but did not show up. His phones were turned off. His colleagues came to his house - there was nobody there, the light was not on.

On November 15, the law enforcers also searched Iljash's place of registration.

Ihar Iljash's wife, Katsiaryna Andreyava, was detained on November 15 for streaming from the Square of Changes. She was charged with organizing actions that grossly violate public order (Article 342 of the Criminal Code).

On November 24, human rights activists declared Katsiaryna Andreyava a political prisoner.

At 23:55, the journalist's brother told the Belsat editorial office that Ihar Iljash was being kept in the TDF in Akrestsin street.
