The Regime Falls Apart in a Moment
Andrei Sannikov

The greatest factor stands against a serial offender in power.

The leader of the European Belarus civil campaign, former presidential candidate Andrei Sannikov stated it in an interview to the Forum of Free Russia when commenting on the current situation in Belarus:

- Lukashenka is trying to retain power only by force. He has nothing left in his arsenal...

Popular protests with a growing number of interesting moments are on our side. We can observe that all strata of society, all professionals are already involved in the protest.

The actions of serial offender Lukashenka show the greatest degree of fear he feels. The people of Belarus is the greatest factor that stands against him. He is no longer the ruler.

The economy is the second most powerful factor. He was unable to do anything about it earlier. Now the strike contributes to it and takes on new forms.

The number of cracks (in the power system) will grow. Along with protests, people are looking for new ways to influence the regime and Lukashenka's removal from power.

- How long can this situation last?

- I believe it will end in a moment. The Belarusian resistance has had much time to mature. It has become so powerful that the whole world is watching it with joy and solidarity.

The same process is going in the depths of the regime. The vessel, Lukashenka and his entourage hide in is cracking. It will fall apart in a moment.
