First Deputy Minister of Information of Belarus Dismissed

Pavel Lehki was sent to Moscow.

Pavel Lehki was dismissed from the post of First Deputy Minister of information. The head of government Raman Halouchanka signed the corresponding decree.

- The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus decides to appoint Pavel Mikalayevich Lehki as an advisor-envoy of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Russian Federation, relieving him of the post of First Deputy Minister of Information, says the decree published on the National Legal Internet Portal.

From 2003 to 2013, Lehki headed Lukashenka's press service. He was appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of information in January 2018; four months later, he was promoted and took the First Deputy post.
