Ales Krutkin, Who Is Currently Under Arrest, Is Also Fined

Courts in Belarus continue to act unlawfully.

Today, Judge of the Pershamaiski court of Vitsebsk Alena Protas fined video blogger and activist of the European Belarus civic campaign Ales Krutkin 50 basic units (1,350 Belarusian rubles) under Article 23.34 Part 3 of the Code of Administrative Offences (violation of the order of organizing or holding mass events), the press service of European Belarus reports.

The activist has already served 17 days of administrative arrest out of 30, which he was sentenced to in the Polatsk court on January 28, 2020 and in Vitsebsk Kastrychnitski district court on February 12.
