The Belarusians and Lithuanians were looking into each other's eyes sincerely in Vilnius.
"Kalinouski's funeral has somehow united us", - Ambassador of Lithuania to Belarus Andrius Pulokas stated on the air of Euroradio.
The diplomat emphasized that Belarusians and Lithuanians were together in the same state for a long time.
"Will it offend you if someone comes up and says that Vilnius is our city, and Pahonia is also ours?" - Zmiter Lukashuk asked.
Pulokas answered that such everyday conversations are not worth paying attention to. He reminded that Belarusians and Lithuanians were united by the reburial of Kastus Kalinouski and his associates in late 2019. Many Belarusians came to this event, and almost the entire procession was carrying the Belarusian national symbols.
"Kalinouski's funeral is a good, creative event. I have the impression that something very good happened. We looked into each other's eyes sincerely again," - the Lithuanian diplomat noted.
