It Is Prohibited To Sell Some Medicines In Belarus Since March 1

Will it be necessary to find them abroad?

It's prohibited to sell some drugs in Belarus since March 1. This was reported in the Ministry of Anti-Monopoly Regulation and Trade.

Since March 1, it's prohibited to sell drugs, the marginal selling prices of which manufacturers are not registered. The ban will apply to drugs for in vitro fertilization (menotropin (human menopausal gonadotropin), follytropin alpha, follytropin beta, tetrorelix), as well as the list of drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

This is provided by Decree No. 345 of August 22, 2018, which introduced the obligation to have the registration of manufacturers' marginal selling prices for certain medicines. The Decree refers to 41 international generic names of drugs when traded in Belarus.

Medicines are divided into several categories, and each of them has its own terms of the ban if the manufacturers' marginal selling prices are not registered.
