Gitanas Nauseda has spoken about the "red lines" in relations between Lithuania and Belarus.

There are certain "red lines" in the relations between Lithuania and Belarus, which concern the Astravets NPP, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda stated to the ONT TV channel.

"We are still not very satisfied with the requirements to the quality of this NPP, and we would like to protect Lithuania's interests, and we will continue our discussion with the Belarusian authorities to find solutions that would be good for both sides," - the President of Lithuania added.

Now the Lithuanian Movement against Astravets NPP is collecting signatures under a petition to the European Parliament. The petition contains five demands regarding the Astravets NPP: in particular, the demand not to issue a license for the operation of a NPP in undesignated areas. The collection of signatures will last till April 20. On April 26 - the day of the Chernobyl tragedy - the petition will be submitted to the European Parliament.
