Russian TV: First Victims Of Coronavirus Appeared in Belarus

The Ministry of Health is denying that information.

The first channel of the Russian television stated in a news piece that "the first deaths were recorded in the U.S., Australia, Thailand and Belarus," naviny.by reports.

The Ministry of Health of Belarus said that this information with regard to Belarus "is a lie and has nothing to do with reality".

In Belarus, according to data as of the evening of March 2, three cases were recorded in which a fragment of RNA, probably belonging to the type of coronavirus COVID-19, was identified. All three patients feel satisfactory, they have no clinical symptoms of the disease.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus will also take appropriate measures in response to the dissemination of fake information about our country," - the Ministry of Health informed.
