Yesterday it became known about a case of coronavirus in Brest region. Today it has been officially confirmed. The patient with a positive result was registered in Stolin district. A local publication reports that on March 31, two residents of the district were taken to the infectious diseases department of the Brest regional hospital. They had been in contact with a woman from another region. The district residents refused to go to the hospital voluntarily, they had to be hospitalized with the help of the police, onliner.by reports.

In Stolin district it was reported that both elderly women, who were hospitalized on March 31, live in the village of Taumachova. One of them had been visited by a son and his wife from Homel voblast. She was a carrier of the coronavirus. She and her husband were taken to the Homel hospital.

- The children came to visit their old mother. She doesn't go anywhere, she stays home. They came and went away, and then the old women were hospitalized, - they told us.

The man had also decided to visit his elderly relative, who lives at the other end of the village.

On Tuesday night, both women were taken to hospital. One of the old ladies really did not want to go anywhere, she was scared - the police had to get involved.
