A hotline has been launched for medical workers, but no one is answering calls.

Doctors who work with patients infected with the coronavirus complain that they were not paid the allowances provided for this by the presidential decree. Babruisk healthcare workers wrote a letter to the Lukashenka Administration. In this situation, a hotline was launched for doctors, on which they promise to explain how bonuses for working with COVID-19 patients are accrued. The health workers trade union announced the launch of a telephone line for answering questions regarding the bonuses provided for in the decree of Lukashenka on May 20. It is reported that you can call the hotline (017−203−83−54) from Tuesday to Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Natallia Kupreichyk, head of the department of socio-economic work of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Workers, must answer the questions of doctors about bonuses by the decree #131. However, today, in the time interval of 3.12 to 4.04, the journalists were not able to reach the indicated number - no one picked up the phone.

Important to note, bonuses for the work related to the coronavirus infection are provided for by decree #131 “On material incentives for healthcare workers”. Moreover, the list of infections for which monthly surcharges are prescribed, in addition to COVID-19, includes plague, cholera, Ebola hemorrhagic fever, and Middle Eastern respiratory syndrome.
