COVID-19 Runs Riot In Brest, Hrodna Regions: 10 More Deaths

New outbreaks have occurred in schools, hospitals, and enterprises.

Readers from the Brest and Hrodna regions report new foci of COVID-19. The infection spreads in schools and gymnasiums in Brest, Hrodna, Karelichy, Pruzhany, and Pinsk, the “Basta!” Telegram channel reports.

“Brest, the polyclinic #6. An endocrinologist's nurse on a sick leave with confirmed COVID-19,” the polyclinic employee said.

“Brest, secondary school #5. A 8th grade student has a confirmed COVID-19,” the channel’s reader writes.

“The COVID-19 outbreak has occurred in Brest, at the Brestzhilstroy enterprise,” one of the employees writes.

“There are two nurses with confirmed coronavirus in the dental office at the Kamianets Central District Hospital,” the channel’s subscriber reports.

“Pruzhany, secondary school #1. Three students and one teacher have a confirmed COVID-19. There is no quarantine. No one took smears from the staff,” the channel’s reader writes.

“In the Stolin district of the Brest region, new cases have been registered. There are many cases of sickness per day in the village of Alshany. In the town of David-Haradok there are also three cases of death. In the city of Stolin there are also a lot of cases, seven deaths," the channel’s subscriber reports.

“Pinsk. The father of a student from school #10 works as a paramedic, is on self-isolation, while the mother is on maternity leave. Children attended school with positive test results,” the channel’s reader writes.

“In Baranavichy at the Oktyabr cinema, both cashiers of paid toilets fell ill,” the channel’s reader writes.

“In Navahradak, about 10 people with COVID-19 were detected at the ProvitBel LLC enterprise yesterday. Employees are massively taking vacations at their own expense, especially managers. The enterprise is almost paralyzed,” the channel’s subscriber reports.

“On May 25 in Karelichy, Hrodna region, they took tests from at least 11 seventh-graders, all were first-level contacts. The test results are not yet known,” the channel’s reader writes.

“Gymnasium # 6 in Hrodna. Despite the fact that there is a person sick with the coronavirus, children continue to attend the infected school. Contacts were not established. The school was not processed with disinfectants,” the channel’s subscriber said.
