Coronavirus In Minsk Region: Infection Spreading Over Towns, Villages

Many doctors are infected with COVID-19.

The “Basta!” Telegram channel reports new cases of COVID-19 in the populated areas of the Minsk region. Subscribers write about outbreaks in Niasvizh, Staryja Darohi, and villages near Minsk.

“Minsk region, the agricultural town of Vishniouka - there are people sick with COVID-19. Someone already has a confirmed diagnosis, others do not. Tests are no longer done. There are people who are sick in all the towns and cities in the district: the villages of Yuzufava, Salomarechcha, Kasyn,” a reader writes.

“My relative in Niasvizh fell ill. The temperature rose, the sense of smell disappeared. He turned to the clinic asking for a test for COVID-19, but he was refused. He managed to do the test all the same, through the head of the department. After a few days he felt better, and he went to the clinic. There his sick leave was terminated, and the man went to work. And a few days later came a positive test result for COVID-19. Now there is a check on how he could close the sick leave,” a subscriber writes.

“Staryja Darohi. Doctors, four nurses from the therapy are already sick. We have only one clean department, where all the “non-coronavirus” patients are taken. About thirty people are in the infectious diseases department.

The staff of the garment factory also get sick, some go to work with a cough. In Belarusbank, some already recovered, others fell ill. One cash desk works, everybody’s uptight, both employees and customers. People in the village of Zaluzhyzha are also starting to get sick,” writes a resident of Staryja Darohi.

“The village of Sosny, a Belenergoset hostel. A man fell ill with the coronavirus, he and his neighbor are on self-isolation,” a subscriber reports.

“Zaslaul. Paramedics, dentists got infected with the coronavirus. One prosthetist has already recovered,” a reader writes.
