On the eve, blogger Dzmitry Kazlou (Gray Cat) called to support his arrested friend and colleague Siarhei Tsikhanouski, and go on a picket near the GUM store in Minsk.

The "Basta!" Telegram channel reported that at around 6 p.m. several activists of the European Belarus civil campaign were also detained near the GUM store.

It was also reported that the traffic police did not allow buses and minibuses to stop near the department store.

This afternoon in Homel a “protest candidate” Uladzimir Niapomniashchykh was detained, in whose support they planned to hold a legal picket to collect signatures at the GUM store.
