Today, the national sovereign of Belarus is standing for the restoration of the law.

This was stated by coordinator of the European Belarus civil campaign Zmitser Bandarenka for the Charter97.org project "Change of Power," answering the question: how will Lukashenka leave?

- Lukashenka is not going to leave as a result of the elections, it is clear. Lukashenka will leave as a result of mass protests in Belarus. Or it will happen before the election day, I think, this scenario is more likely - 60 percent. Or it will happen after the election date and they will try to announce some crazy figures, as always. People already know that Lukashenka's rating is 1-3% and the nickname "Sasha 3%" appeared for a reason. It won't be easy to lie anymore.

As for the law enforcement agencies, thank God, there are a lot of normal people serving in the army. There are units, such as riot police or Lukashenka's security service, which can be found guilty of crimes against humanity. These people will be on the run for the rest of their lives. For example, the "Berkut" fighters in Ukraine say that they followed the president's order. Of course, they forget that even the orders of a legitimate president, if they are criminal ones, should not be followed by law enforcers. Yanukovych was legally elected, his election was recognized in Europe. Lukashenka, however, is a usurper. Today, the police, KGB, employees of other services should be aware of the fact that they do not serve the legitimate president.

Today, the sovereign of Belarus - the Belarusian people - stand for the restoration of the law, while they defend the interests of a group of people who illegally seized power.

As for Lukashenka and his law enforcers, Yarmoshyna and the Central Election Commission may be subject to Article 357 of the Criminal Code (seizure or retention of state power by unconstitutional means), which provides for the death penalty, among other measures.
