Not the "elections" but the streets decide the fate of Belarus.

July 14, the CEC, headed by Yermoshyna, did not register Valery Tsepkala and Lukashenka's strongest rival Viktar Babaryka as presidential candidates.

In the evening thousands of people all over the country started peaceful protests.

A well-known opposition activist from Homel, former police officer Uladzimir Nepomnyashchykh, who became a candidate for protest in the current campaign, commented on the new situation in Belarus.

- Unregistration of Babaryka and Tsepkala demonstrates cold feet. Lukashenka is 100% afraid. It's not surprising. This coward has had a nervous tic from the very beginning of the election campaign when people all over the country started building up kilometres-long lines to the Tsikhanouskis, Babaryka and Tsepkala. The Yermoshina CEC proclaimed on behalf of Lukashenka cowardice and fear for his fate.

You know, there is nothing decent and adequate left in the actions of this person. He went mad. He acts like a wounded beast and does not know what to do.

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has been registered. However, her husband is being held hostage in the pre-trial detention centre and been put in the penalty ward for the third time. Can a normal person act like that, abuse a woman?

His inadequacy and the fact that the patient has long needed treatment can only explain this. He needs a professional examination. If a person is sick, he needs treatment. If he's not sick and realizes his actions, he must face justice.

Someone may think that I am tough, but it would be better for Lukashenka and his family if he stops now and turns on his brains.

- You say to turn on the brains... Is it possible?

- The best option for Lukashenka is to fire Yermoshyna after the shameful meeting of the CEC. Then pack all your things, take your family, board a plane and fly to Venezuela or North Korea. It would be the best option for him to demonstrate his brains.

All the other options are wasted for Lukashenka. You see, his position is that everything he does only worsens his chances. In fact, nothing will rescue him. Faithful Yermoshyna has voiced the ridiculous end of the story. If Lukashenka reappoints himself with her help, it will be a tragedy for him.

- May this cause such a nervous reaction to strong rivals?

- Yes. The poor thing was so nervous about awakening Belarusians that it caused damages in his mind. When there was someone who supported him, he was not so nervous. Now, he has less than 3%, it drives him crazy.

People offer him to leave. There's no need to chase the truth, it's enough to look at the streets and the lines to alternative candidates. Let Lukashenko leave. Whatever Lukashenka does, it won't help him anymore. Look at the situation in the country!

- What do you, as a candidate for protest, offer?

- Not the "elections," but the streets will decide the fate of Belarus. Are these "elections"? It's a shell game with swindlers. Only the Square and peaceful participation of people in the protests will decide everything.

Like it or not, the people should realize that it is the only way to change the power in Belarus. We have Armenia as a good example of a peaceful change of power. There should be quite a lot of us. There may be 3-5% of Belarusians. Of course, 5-10% is better; if 15% of us stand out at once, Lukashenka will run away.

Now when Lukashenka has violated the Constitution, the people have the right to express their discontent. By the way, the power in the country belongs to the people. This is what the Constitution says. We have already made it clear to him that he should resign. Let him do it peacefully. It will be better for him and for Belarus.

- You have already said that the tribunal would decide Lukashenka's fate...

- Every day he's getting closer to it.

He'll be tried anyway. Sooner or later, in absentia or in person, alive or dead. People should see who's who. Those who got orders from him will testify, too. I think they will be the first to testify to reduce their term.

However, he still has a chance to turn around and take the other side. Let him urgently withdraw from the "elections".

To all our wonderful people who long for changes, but still for some reason have not joined the street actions, I want to say: stop "fighting" on a couch, let's resist together. It's time to start living a normal life in Belarus with democracy, independent courts, respect for people. So that the authorities worked for us, not vice versa. For Belarus without Lukashenka! That's enough! Long Live Belarus!
