Robert Biedron: EU Must Restore Sanctions, Freeze Financial Aid To Lukashenka Regime

The whole world admires Belarusians.

Robert Biedron, Member of the European Parliament, Chairman of the Commission for Relations with Belarus, made a post on Facebook about the latest events in Belarus, and the sanctions imposed by the European Union.

“In light of the events in Belarus, the EU should restore sanctions and freeze financial aid against the Lukashenka regime. However, we will not cease our support for the Belarusian civil society.

Dear Belarusians, men and women, you are not alone, and your unprecedented mobilization, determination and need for democratic reforms is admired by the whole world. Long Live Belarus!

The politician has also published a statement as chairman of the EP delegation relations with Belarus.
