Poland Will Support Belarusians and Belarusian Media

In the Sejm, the Prime Minister of Poland mentioned "Belsat," "Charter-97," and "Radio Racyja."

"Only Belarusians have the right to decide the future of Belarus. Today we call on the Belarusian authorities to hold free re-elections. These elections must be fair and democratic. It would be best with the participation of international observers. "

The statement came from Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in the Sejm, "Radio Racyja" reports.

- In a situation where the stake is life, health, safety, you can't waste time. We offer a package that provides for exemption from payments, and in emergencies exemption from the need to have documents and simplification of access to the labor market.

The head of the Polish government noted that the support of independent media is important in the current situation:

- Assistance to independent media, including "Belsat," "Charter-97," and "Radio Racyja," as well as support for independent media and publishers in Belarus. At a time when the Internet can be turned off in Belarus any hour, it is important that the channels through which Belarusians communicate with the free world are as many as possible. During these difficult days, Belarusian journalists passed the exam. Belarus cannot turn into a space of falsehood and manipulation; it demands media pluralism.

Today, the Polish Sejm also adopted a resolution that strongly condemns the deprivation of Belarusian citizens of the opportunity to participate in free, democratic elections and free expression of their views.
