‘No Sick Leave Provided - Young Strong Guy Has Pulmonary Fibrosis’

How, due to the narrow-mindedness of the bosses, the entire office fell ill with the coronavirus.

A reader has depicted to the Charter97.org news website the story of how the authorities allow the mass infection of Belarusians with the coronavirus:

- A young guy, 27 years old, full of energy and ambition, very smart, worked in our accounting department. In April, he began to cough, was sent for CT scan, and it was established he had a bilateral pneumonia. The coronavirus test was negative, so no sick leave was provided despite the fever, dry cough, and loss of taste and smell.

He walked around like that, and the bosses came to their senses only when he had already infected everyone.

The result is sad. A week ago, they refused to fire him for health reasons, and he was dismissed by the agreement of the parties. This tough guy has pulmonary fibrosis, one of the lungs barely works, there are certain grounds to officially reckon him as a person with disability.

The guy's life is ruined.

And how many of these people have been brought to the actual grave by the authorities with their narrow-mindedness?
