Queues near the voting stations not only do not decrease, but continue to grow.

At many voting stations in Minsk, huge queues and serious excitement have occurred - independent observers say that at some of them the turnout has already exceeded one hundred percent, as at the voting stations #21 and # 22 in the Minsk gymnasium #43 on Kazimirauskaya Street.

Independent observers told tut.by about the possible excess of the maximum turnout at the voting stations # 21 and # 22, located in the building of gymnasium # 43. According to them, there are about 5.8 thousand people on the voter lists in total. According to the protocols of election commissions, the turnout for early voting was about two thousand people. On the main voting day, August 9, as of 5.30 p.m., according to observers, about 3.8 thousand people have already entered the gymnasium's doors, and there are several hundred voters in the queue of those wishing to vote, and it stretched for about a kilometer, skirting the building. Thus, the turnout should have already exceeded one hundred percent.

The election commission of the voting station #22 refused to comment by phone.

Observers say that mostly people go to voting station #22, and there is a small queue at the voting station # 21 - the reason for this is unknown to them. Due to the huge number of people, the members of the commission could not cope with the flow, and the independent observers, who had already finished their shift, decided to stay in order to help distribute the waiting voters - they announced the addresses for each of the precincts in the queue. Moreover, they helped organize the work of the commission, inviting its members to distribute addresses among themselves and call people from the corridor along them, so that each of them was equally busy, and the process itself went faster.

According to observers, people who voted complain about a large number of spoiled ballots that are given to them: some with marks or dots, some are even damaged - they are replaced only at the request of voters. Also, people were initially not allowed to put the date in the journal, however, when the outrage increased, they were allowed to put the date in the cell with the signature.

The queue near the gymnasium # 43 continues to grow, and there are doubts that all people will have time to vote, there’s little time remains. Independent observers admit that at first they themselves were not allowed into the voting room, but due to the enormous workload, the commission members no longer ask them to leave - they are simply too busy.
