His whereabouts are still unknown.

This morning in Homel, they detained the eldest son of activist Taссiana Kanieuskaja, who has been in a pre-trial detention center in Minsk since August on charges of "riots." His brother Aliaksej told tut.by about it.

- Dad and brother drove up to the place of work, but a red minibus blocked their way. People in spotted uniforms and masks came out, twisted their arms, and pushed brother into a bead. There was one man in civilian clothes with them. He showed to father his identity card. For what they were detained, they did not say. They promised that they would provide details within two hours. But more time has passed, and we still do not know where Sasha is, - says Aliaksej.

The press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate has not yet been able to receive a prompt comment.

Taссiana Kanieuskaja was a confidant of Sviatlana Cikhanouskaja and collected signatures for her. She is one of the Belarusians recognized as political prisoners in this campaign, one of the five women currently on this list (there are also Maryja Kalesnikava, Lilia Ulasava, Sviatlana Kuprejeva, Yulia Shardzika; Alena Karahachova, who was also on the list and was recently released)...

Police detained Kanieuskaja in Homel on August 8. She was charged with administrative offenses: petty hooliganism and insubordination to the police. On August 10, the Saviecki District Court of Homel considered the administrative protocol - the judge sent it back for revision. Kanieuskaja, since she has a minor child, was released from the courtroom. But as soon as she decided to take things from the convoy car, she was immediately detained again.

She was transported to Minsk to the pre-trial detention center on Valadarskaha; now, the woman is being prosecuted in the case of mass riots (Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).

Four sons are waiting for her at home - 13-year-old Heorhij, Dzmitry, Aliaksej, Aliaksandr - and her husband Mikalaj Vadzimavich.
