Washington Demanded To Release Political Consultant Vital Shkliarau Immediately

The US President's National Security Advisor has made a statement.

National Security Adviser to the U.S. President Robert O'Brien said the U.S. authorities are calling on the official Minsk to release political technologist Vital Shkliarau, naviny.by reports.

Washington calls to "release Vital Shkliarau, an American citizen and husband of an American diplomat, unjustly imprisoned in Belarus for almost two months, immediately".

O'Brien stressed that the political technologist "must be returned to his family".

Political consultant Vital Shkliarau, a native of Homel, lives in the USA. He came to Homel to see his parents and was detained on July 29, and then placed in detention center № 1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Volodarsky Street in Minsk.
