From the Leninski regional police department, the man was taken to an emergency hospital.

After the rally was dispersed on September 27 in Mahileu, 38-year-old Andrej Viarbitski was hospitalized: his face was smashed. As reported by "Radio Svaboda," from the Leninski regional police department, the man was taken to an emergency hospital. The Investigative Committee is verifying this fact: the investigator came to the victim on September 27 and 28.

It is reported that Viarbitski received injuries on ArdzhAnikidze Square, where the police used force and special means against the protesters: they fired into the air from a flash-noise flare gun.

The resident of Mahileu says that in the group of AMAP, two policemen were the cruelest; they deliberately went at him and the man next to him, who got beaten much more.

"I literally looked at the man next to me for just a second, and I was immediately hit, but not with a truncheon because it would have left a scar. And so I have skin torn off under my eye, and my forehead is cut. I grabbed my face. I felt that blood was flowing. I grouped myself, covered my body with my elbows. I asked not to beat me because I would go wherever they would tell. When I bent over, a shot rang out. There were two more blows on the sides, but I won't say that they were strong, recalls the Mahileu resident.

In the minibus, Viarbitski, according to him, asked to call an ambulance, as he began to lose consciousness. "They walked me to the police station because the picture in front of me was blurry. An hour later, an ambulance arrived at the police station," he says.

According to the preliminary diagnosis, Viarbitski has a mild craniocerebral injury, a bruised wound in the frontal region. He was prescribed a series of procedures for a detailed examination.

According to estimates of human rights activists, on September 27, police detained more than 30 people in Mahileu.
