Belarusians Launched Project To Deprive Regime Of Funding

Economic Pressure activists find pain points in the system.

Belarusians abroad have launched a project to deprive Lukashenka's regime of funding, the Basta telegram channel reports.

In order to achieve their goal, the Economic Pressure activists ask foreign partners of "odious" Belarusian enterprises to stop cooperating with the latter and support the striking workers.

They remind businessmen and officials of their personal responsibility and sanctions, and provide the protesting workers with the support of foreign trade unions, associations, and the media.

An important result is the inspection, with which the Norwegian company of Yara came to Belarus; after the inspection, there was talk about suspending cooperation. It is the result of the joint work of diasporas, strike committees, and trade unions, and it is the most successful example of economic pressure, and we want the same from all big partners.

The main focus of the project: to gather a database of enterprises, to work with trade unions, to work with banks and sanctions.

The creators of the Economic Pressure report that work on a separate project on the Belarusian nuclear power plant is already underway. Its goal is to get the European Union to refuse the energy produced by BelNPP.
