According to tut.by, unknown persons reported on mining the buildings of the Belarusian State University and Minsk State Linguistic University.

"In the afternoon, January 27, Minsk State Linguistic University (21 Zakharov Street) and Belarusian State University (4 Independence Avenue) received anonymous e-mail messages about the mining of educational institutions.

The police arrived at the scene, and the necessary security measures have been taken. The de-mining experts are working," - the Minsk police said in a statement.

Natallia Kachanava and head of the Ministry of Education Ihar Karpenka are now inside those buildings.
