The number of illegal immigrants who are trying to get to Poland has also increased.

On Monday, October 11, Polish border guards recorded 605 attempts to illegally cross the Belarusian-Polish border. Last Sunday, on October 10, officers of the State Border Guard Service of Latvia prevented 23 attempts to illegally cross the Belarusian-Latvian border.

Since August 10, a total of 1,618 people have not been able to illegally cross the border at this section, according to the Latvian border service.
