Political prisoner Dzmitry Furmanau, who was held in the "Tsikhanouski case," was released today from the Vitsba colony, Radio Svaboda writes.

Dzmitry Furmanau, one of the defendants in the "Tsikhanouski case," was in the team of Siarhei Tsikhanouski and administered the Country for Life channel, and, with the start of collecting signatures, he became the coordinator of the initiative group of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. Furmanau was detained on May 29 at a picket in Hrodna and found guilty of organizing mass riots. Like other defendants in the case, Furmanau was recognized as a political prisoner. He received 2 years in a general regime colony.
