Poland - Lukashenko - 1:0

Poland - Lukashenko - 1:0

Warsaw has broken the Belarusian dictator's plan.

Lukashenka visited the logistics center near the Bruzgi border crossing, where he made an emotional speech addressed to migrants. UDF has made several conclusions out of it.

Lukashenka underestimated Poland, which broke his plan

Recently migrants, with the approval of the Belarusian authorities, blatantly stormed the Polish border at the checkpoint, throwing stones at the border guards. But it didn't work: the Polish security forces responded harshly, using water cannons.

Aliaksandr Lukashenka is greatly disappointed:

"They have pelted you with pesticides, stun grenades, tear gas and so on. God forbid, you would have gone closer to the border, they would have started shooting. The people on the other side got mad"

In his speech in front of the migrants, the dictator said: Angela Merkel agreed that "two thousand people is not a big problem for Germany", but the Polish side is blocking the solution of the problem.

The dictator began to realize that he had not only failed to put pressure on politicians from the neighboring country, but had also presented them with a gift.

Lukashenka overestimated the current role of Merkel; no one wants to communicate with him but her.

After Merkel talked twice to the dictator about the problem of migrants at Putin's suggestion, Lukashenka, judging by the statements of the state propaganda, hoped that the "she-wolf" would help solve the crisis in his favor.

However, the euphoria wore off quite quickly, as Lukashenka realized that the acting Chancellor of Germany had little influence on the situation: "Naturally, she is an outgoing person, her authority has practically run out," Lukashenka said.

It turned out that not only was Merkel unable to help Lukashenka, but that no one else wanted to communicate with him except for her.

"She says: "These are the people who are going to solve this problem at the EU level". I instructed the minister (Makei), he called them the next day. The answer was: "Well, we have other things to worry about now, we have business trips". It seems that they don't want to solve this problem," confessed Lukashenka.

And added:

"Moreover, I observe that one of the figures, whom she named, behaves in a simply disgusting way. He makes statements, insulting not only the country but me personally".

Lukashenka is at a loss

On one hand, Lukashenka made a statement resembling a threat:

"I look further: if we do not solve the refugee problem in Belarus now, it will be much more intense not only in spring, but also in winter. We understand that a huge number of refugees will rush here and it will be impossible to keep them in at the border".

On the other hand, he does not know yet how to ensure such a situation.

Lukashenka stated that the European Union has successfully "put pressure" on the authorities of Iraq and "others", and that "...the airlines have made a pause". And voiced an unexpected hope:

"What will they do if they fly out from Egypt? I mean, are they going to depress Egypt? No, General Al-Sisi is there, you cannot press on him."

Judging by these and other statements one gets the impression that Lukashenka is confused and does not know what to do about sending migrants to the European Union.

Here is another emotional statement, which makes it clear that the situation is not in his favor:

"I just pray to God that they get it all back. Not the nations. And those Moravetskies, Dudas and others who are cheering and hyping about this problem. They don't give any money, but we'll do everything to make them pay for it. We'll do everything we can to make them pay. If they don't pay, we'll make do."

And yet the dictator is not going to give up yet: "They are rejoicing too early".

Lukashenka spoke not for the external, but for the internal audience

Otherwise he would not have used the word "scum" so often when speaking about the Western politicians. The propaganda broadcasted the following picture: the migrants welcome Lukashenka with joy and applaud him.

On TV cameras, the Kurds, who were given the floor, made statements, which were pleasant to the ear of the dictator. For example, one of the migrants said:

"Lukashenka is like a father to the refugees. Naturally, when you're hungry here, when you're without water, his help comes in handy."

Experts have long said that after the events of 2020 Lukashenka has periodically arranged a kind of psychotherapy sessions for himself, when people show their love for him. Perhaps, it was just an example of such events.
