Migrants Tied To Break Through Belarusian-Polish Border Near Czeremcha

The special services were helping the illegal immigrants from the Belarusian side.

The police showed what the Belarusian law enforcers were doing at night.

The latest video, released by the Podlaskie police on Friday, shows the conditions under which the Polish law enforcement officers had to guard the border with Belarus.

The video was taken near Czeremcha, reports tvp.info.

"Police officers who stopped an attempted border crossing between Opaką and Wólką Terechowską were blinded by Belarusian officers with strobe lights and lasers in the evening," the police said, publishing the 22-second film.

According to Tomasz Krupa, a spokesman for the Podlaskie police, the intervention occurred around 7 p.m. because of an attempted border crossing in the Czeremcha community. About 80 police officers as well as soldiers and border guards took part in the action.

The latest data on illegal crossing of the Polish-Belarusian border indicates 58 attempts. As many as 16 people were expelled from the territory of Poland.

In November, the Polish Border Guard recorded a total of almost 9,000 attempts to cross the border with Belarus illegally.
