It is understandable: over the entrusted committee the sword of Damocles is hanging. At least 700 employees of the central office have signed up for alternative candidates. Moreover, the investigators have dared to investigate the abuse of power by security officials. And Naskevich has even seen the old one with these cases. Sources from the Investigative Committee say that even with the comb-out, there is a serious split. The front-runners and careerists are turning a blind eye and ready to trump up all sorts of political cases.

In general, the Investigative Committee, formed in 2011, has fallen into disgrace. When "there is no time for laws", extra bodies only interfere and complicate execution of decisions. Arranging show trials is much easier if the investigation is under the full control of the Interior Ministry. So far they have managed to break down Naskevich, who does not institute criminal proceedings even when it is impossible not to institute them, and still finds the strength to wear the shoulder straps of the Major-General of Justice.
