The Belarusian authorities always have an eternal option - to bomb Voronezh.

It seems that this diplomacy has broken down, and a new one will not be brought. Because blackmailing the West by threatening to close the Belarusian embassies is possible only out of complete despair when there is nothing else to blackmail with. Like: if you call me names, I'll take the toys and won't play with you. But, such a threat can be useful if someone is interested in your toys. And when no one wants to play anyway, go to your health. Even if the embassies are really closed, it will not help against sanctions. (Although, it must be admitted that in terms of diplomacy and foreign policy, there is not too much benefit from working embassies either), writes the Letters to Daughter Telegram channel.

Probably, in the beautiful world of illusions in which the Belarusian authorities live, some looked like Sir Winston Churchill during the Fulton speech. But, in the real world, words about the optimization of embassies are an admission of total defeat on all foreign policy fronts. Such a signal for a general retreat, when diplomats, wounded in battles for legitimacy, crawl deep into the rear.

Earlier we all talked about the foreign policy crisis, but now that's it. Now, this is no longer a crisis. This is now a rout. The Belarusian authorities have no foreign policy and diplomacy left. They do not want to talk to them (well, except for one topic of interest to everyone), the old instruments are broken, and there is nothing more to scare. Whatever they could frighten with, they did.

Because, here you said about the last straw that fell in the cup of patience in relations with Poland, so what's next? After the words about the last straw, something must be done. It's a word of a man. What are you going to do? Well, besides the fact that you will "more actively promote the themes of the persecution of Belarusians in the interwar and postwar period."

The Belarusian authorities, however, always have an eternal option - to bomb Voronezh. Since the pinpoint bombing did not help, it is supposed to move to the carpet. Cut foreign language courses, along with scouts. Apparently, this is a way to cover up the retreat of Belarusian diplomacy to prepared positions. But, as the experience with Poland has shown, bombing Voronezh in the current situation of the Belarusian authorities is fraught not with negotiations but with all sorts of unpleasant consequences.

Any fund with Scandinavian roots will fall under the bombs, and Yara, even if it suddenly really wants to, will not be able to sign any contracts. And he will get there. If not Scandinavian, then British. If Belarusian potash will not suffer, then gasoline with fuel oil will. Because "handsome men" are not used to deny themselves anything and do not know how to stop. And they were not taught to think about all sorts of abstract concepts like the interests of the country.

Look: a couple of months ago, there were people who thought that something could be agreed with the Belarusian authorities. To resolve issues for mutual pleasure. Well, like Fasel with the World Cup or the organizers of Eurovision. But the Belarusian authorities have achieved such tremendous successes that now even standing next to them is dangerous for reputation, political prospects, and common sense. And now Ukraine says that Minsk has lost the status of a negotiating platform for Donbas, and Lviv refuses to buy Belarusian buses despite discounts and bonuses. Well, the Belarusian authorities do not have so many bonuses.

And this really means a simple thing - in the end, even those who do not like it at all will participate in the “coercion” operation. Even those who may and would not want to force anyone to do anything. And they will be forced not only by sanctions but also by broken contracts, lost customers, arrested at the border by trucks with cigarettes. Because the uniqueness of the policy of the Belarusian authorities leaves no one with a choice.
