Belneftekhim Unveils Gasoline Price Growth Plan For 2021

How will the price of automobile fuel rise?

Under the condition of stable oil prices and the Belarusian ruble exchange rate, fuel prices in Belarus are expected to increase by 5-6% by the end of the year. Such information is contained in the minutes of the meeting of the Public Advisory Council for the Development of entrepreneurship at the Belneftekhim Concern.

The protocol notes that the concern will continue to implement the strategy of phased price changes, taking into account a comprehensive assessment of changes in market conditions and analysis of the economic situation of manufacturers.

“With the current economic conditions unchanged, including oil prices and the exchange rate of the Belarusian ruble, it is planned to increase fuel prices by 5-6% by the end of the year,” the protocol says.

Recall that, in early February, the deputy head of the main department of tax policy and budget revenues of the Ministry of Finance, Aliaksandr Vasevich, in his article published in the journal "Finance, Accounting, Audit," wrote that the cost of a liter of automobile fuel in 2021 will grow by an average of 10 kopecks per 1 liter, or 6%.

Since the beginning of 2021, the prices for automobile fuel have already changed ten times (increased by 10 kopecks). The last time diesel and gasoline rose in price by one kopeck on April 13.

From April 13, the cost of 1 liter of AI-92-K5-Euro gasoline is 1 ruble 80 kopecks, AI-95-K5-Euro - 1 ruble 90 kopecks, AI-98-K5-Euro - 2 rubles 12 kopecks, diesel fuel - 1 ruble 90 kopecks.
