Yulia Cherniavskaya, widow of Tut.by founder Yury Zisser, is not available. She hasn't answered messages for over an hour. Her daughter Eugenia Cherniavskaya wrote about it on her Facebook account.

Elena Tolkacheva is also subject to searches.

This morning, the police came to the office of tut.by, the editors and the editorial office of av.by. The State Control Committee informed BelTA that they had initiated a criminal case. Officials of the portal are allegedly accused of "tax evasion".

"May 18, a criminal case was initiated against officials of "Tut By Media" under Part 2, Article 243 of the Criminal Code (evasion of taxes and fees on a large scale)," said the SCC.

The tut.by website is currently blocked.
