Conditions In Which Belarusian Mechanics Live During Sowing Season: Shocking Photos

Machine operators at the Collective Farming Unitary Enterprises "Kashevichy" and " Cheliushchevichy" in Petrykau district are working in appalling conditions. Such conclusions can be drawn after reading the article "The Problem With Personnel - The Problem with Labor Protection" in the newspaper of Petrykau News.

According to the district newspaper, problems and a number of violations were revealed during the monitoring of labor safety, when the sowing campaign was taking place.

"The mechanizers at sowing and spreading organics were not provided with serviceable fire extinguishers and first aid kits. Special overalls and other means of protection had not been provided before the season," - Petrykau News reports.

It is also noted that near the gatehouse of the mechanical yard of the CFUE "Kashevichy" the walls and the heating furnace are damaged. There is no water there.

The floor covering in the dairy complex in Kashevichy is broken. There are also no sinks. And this happens during the pandemic of coronavirus, the district journalist notes.

The safety rules for vehicles have also been violated:

"In the farmyard of the CFUE Cheliushchevichy, the machinery is kept on wooden pads, and the body of the MAZ - in a raised position without additional support".

The office of the workshop manager makes a shocking impression: there is a leaky roof, the furniture and documentation are damaged.

Besides, the mechanics of Cheliushchevichy are forced to load the seeding aggregate with dressed seeds manually and without respiratory and skin protection.

One positive thing that was noticed was that all of the machine operators were sober during the inspection:

"Alcohol vapor tests conducted among the machine operators of the Collective Farming Unitary Enterprises "Kashevichy" and " Cheliushchevichy" by members of the mobile group did not reveal any signs of alcoholic beverages".
