The Rating of the German Foreign Minister, Whom Lukashenka Wanted to "Prick," Will Only Grow

How European voters react to the words of the dictator.

Lukashenka's attempt to "prick" German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, it seems, will raise the politician's ratings. The historian Alexander Friedman living in Dusseldorf noted that the Social Democrat Maas is not one of the most popular politicians (at the beginning of June, only 44% of Germans were satisfied with his activities in office), and his party is gaining only about 15% of the votes in the latest polls, having rather illusory chances to enter the future government.

Now, in the person of Lukashenka, the most odious ruler of Europe intervened in the matter, and even with "Nazi comparisons," to which the Germans react particularly painfully.

Lukashenka's anti-German tirade is a gift for the minister. The ratings of Maas and, possibly, his party have every chance to improve.
