Rules Of Crossing Belarusian Borders Have Changed: Something You Need To Know

The innovations have come into force today.

At 00:00, July 17, Belarus changed the procedure for crossing the border in the conditions of coronavirus, reports the press service of the State Border Committee. This is stipulated by the decree of the Council of Ministers № 624.

The main innovations:

- the period of self-isolation upon arrival in Belarus has been reduced from 10 to 7 days;

- people with a certificate confirming vaccination against COVID-19 are exempt from self-isolation;

- it is possible to submit a PCR test in the system "Travelling Without COVID-19";

- foreigners are granted visa-free entry for 5 days for vaccination;

- citizens of Belarus are allowed to travel abroad with documents confirming temporary residence (no more than once every 6 months);

- foreign citizens who have permanent or temporary residence permits in Belarus are allowed to travel to their country of citizenship (no more than once every 6 months);

- citizens of Belarus and foreigners who have permanent or temporary residence permit in our country and citizens of Russia are allowed to travel to the territory of Kaliningrad region of Russia by rail without transfers on the way.
