Enthusiast ‘Vivified’ Photos Of Kalinouski, Other Prominent Belarusians

The basis is taken from real photographs of prominent figures of Belarusian origin.

Stanislau Pridybayla works in the IT industry and is interested in the history of Belarus, as well as the history of his kind: the guy is making a family tree, looking for photographs of ancestors. His hobby led the young man to a side project - he created several videos of “vivified” pictures of famous Belarusians of the XIX and XX centuries, writes Onliner.

The basis is taken from real photographs of prominent figures of Belarusian origin. Stanislau used a wide range of tools to increase the resolution of the original images, colorize them, add animation, and so on.

Kastus Kalinouski (1838-1864), publicist and politician:

Vincent Dunin-Marcinkiewicz (1808-1884), writer:

Mikhail Zabeyda-Sumitski (1900-1981), opera singer:

Stanislau says that the process of creating a video is rather complicated: “What the neural networks give out is just their “guess” based on information. Because of this, the results may not be 100% historically correct. For example, there are doubts about the exact colors of the clothes.

In addition, Stanislau painted the 1961 Soviet film “The Girls” and is developing the “Transport BY” project, which should unite the entire public car fleet of Belarus into one service.
