Belarusian Banks Increasingly Often Face International Payments Not Passing

This is due to the restrictions imposed by the EU.

We continue the series “Sanctions do not work”. Belarusian banks are increasingly faced with the fact that international payments do not go through due to the restrictions imposed by the EU, writes the Nick and Mike Telegram channel.

In particular, we are talking about the following banks:

- Lasdesbank Hessen-Thuringen Girozentrale

- KBC Bank NV

- Erste Group Bank AG

- Swedbank AB

- Raiffeisen Bank

The latter nevertheless decided that the remnants of its reputation were more expensive. Civil society pressure and ESG principles work. Somehow the junta has so far sluggishly reacted to the next unfriendly step of the once very friendly Austria.

As a substitute for settlements with Polish companies, they suggest using PKO Bank Polski, for settlements in euros - Deutsche Bank or Commerzbank. Settlement in Danish kroner and Canadian dollars has been temporarily suspended altogether.

However, there is no doubt that the above options are temporary. The leader of the junta continues to run up and claim that the fascists are everyone around Belarus, and not at all those who opened 4,200 criminal cases against Belarusians. Also, the “real” fascists were billed for $ 500 billion. The figure was voiced with a margin - so that the blue-fingered oldman would have enough until his death and would not have to beg for money from Vova, who due to some reason completely ceased to be generous. Well, or here's another version of where the amount came from - also not from the mind of a genius.

Meanwhile, the first one drives on. Maduro is ready to sit down at the negotiating table with Guaido. These tough guys are only tough up to some point. And when inflation reaches thousands percent, and “non-working sanctions” leave the regime without money, then you get scared for your ass.

We continue to put pressure on the regime to force it make mistakes. And we are thinking about how to prevent the junta's scenario. We must be one step ahead. As befits excellent students in competitions with C-graders (at best).
