The security forces came to the widow of Yury Ziser on May 18, a day after the first anniversary of the death of her husband.

The investigation did not change the measure of restraint for the widow of Yury Ziser, Yulia Charniauskaya, who is under house arrest in the tut.by case. Zerkalo.io was told about this by her lawyer.

The defense filed a petition to change the preventive measure on July 6. The lawyer offered to release Yulia Charniauskaya from house arrest on bail and recognizance not to leave. Until now, a written response to the defense has not been received.

"Since in the case of the satisfaction of the petition, those actions are performed that the person who submitted the petition asks for, and Yulia Charniauskaya is still inaccessible for contact with relatives and friends, this means that the decision to satisfy the petition has not been made by the investigation at this stage," the lawyer said.

The preventive measure can be changed at any time on the initiative of the investigation. Refusal to satisfy the application does not prevent it from being resubmitted.

“It is possible that the investigation has not yet carried out urgent investigative actions that would make it possible to talk about the possibility of changing the preventive measure at this stage. However, we very much hope that, in the future, the investigation will not have grounds for leaving Yulia Charniauskaya under house arrest, taking into account her state of health and the fact that she will not objectively create any obstacles to the investigation,” the defense believes.

The siloviki came to Yulia on May 18, a day after the first anniversary of the death of her husband, founder of tut.by Yury Zisser. On the day Yulia was placed under house arrest, she had a hypertensive crisis. She lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital where she received emergency medical attention. This led to the fact that her previously diagnosed risk 3 of arterial hypertension of the second degree was replaced by risk 4 - the highest existing.

In addition, Yulia suffers from bronchial asthma and serious diseases of the cardiovascular system. After suffering a severe fracture of her foot in 2009 and a complex operation in the 6th City Clinical Hospital, when she could only move around the house in a wheelchair for six months, Yulia is experiencing constant severe pain in her left leg. In addition, there are other serious problems with diseases of the musculoskeletal system with severe pain.

Let us remind you that, on the morning of May 18, DFR employees came to some tut.by employees' homes. The security officials also came to the tut.by office in the Omega Tower building.

The State Control Committee reported that a criminal case was initiated against the officials of tut.by on the grounds of corpus delicti under Part 2 of Art. 243 of the Criminal Code (Evasion of the payment of taxes and fees on an especially large scale). In 2019, the company received the status of a resident of the High-Tech Park (HTP). According to the Department of Financial Investigations, tut.by received revenue "due to activities not permitted for HTP residents."

The Ministry of Information has restricted access to the tut.by Internet resources.

To date, 15 employees have been detained in the tut.by case: Liudmila Chekina, Maryna Zolatava, Volha Loiko, Alena Talkachova, Angela Assad, Iryna Rybalka, Maryja Novik, Ala Lapatka, Aliaksandr Daineka, Andrei Avdzeeu, Siarhei Pavalishau, Darja Danilava, Katsiaryna Tkachenka, Iryna Kastsiuchenka, and Yulia Charniauskaya.
