Residents of the Homel Region Refuse to Work in the Police

In the Homel region, police are trying to close vacancies through advertisements in newspapers and phone calls to factory workers, Flagstok reports. Also, ads appeared on the websites of local authorities, and the employment service began to offer a job in the police.

On July 6, advertisements for employment in the internal affairs bodies appeared in two different regions of the Homel region. The Department of Internal Affairs of the Kastrychnitski District Executive Committee announced on the website of the local newspaper that it was recruiting candidates for service in five different positions. They are ready to take on officer positions if they have higher education and general experience of at least 12.6 years, but for other positions, secondary education is sufficient.

On the website of the Navabelitski district administration, an announcement appeared about recruiting for service in the department of the Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the positions of privates and junior commanding officers.

Also, the readers of the publication report that men of different professions are being massively invited to work in the police department.

“At Svetlahorsk Khimvolokno, they call the workers from the ROVD and offer them jobs. They call almost all the men. They say education doesn't matter,” the reader said.

Also, vacancies for work in the police began to be published in the republican bank of vacancies of the employment service. So, at the moment, 4 vacancies are available for the unemployed at the Yelsk District Department of Internal Affairs, which were published back in March 2021.
